The Spanish Constitution states that all people have the right to freedom of expression and information, and this also applies to the digital environment. In Aaron Sorkin’s series The Newsroom, we see the News Night editorial team’s commitment to guaranteeing these rights. Is the same true off screen? How can the media work to promote citizens’ free access to accurate information? Without it, we cannot form informed opinions and ensure a more just and democratic society.
To address this issue, in this episode we have two guests with extensive experience in the media: María Moya, founder and CEO of Prodigioso Volcán, and Borja Bergareche, partner at Harmon.
