Alicia García Herrero

Hong Kong. Chief economist for Asia Pacific at Natixis and an independent member of the Board of Directors of the AGEAS insurance group, as well as an independent member of the Board of Directors of the AGEAS insurance group. She is a senior fellow at Bruegel and a non-resident senior fellow at the East Asian Institute (EAI) of the National University Singapore (NUS). An adjunct professor at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST), she is also a member of the Board of the Centre for Asia-Pacific Resilience and Innovation (CAPRI) and the Spanish Government's Council of Advisors on Economic Issues. She also sits the Advisory Board of the Mercator Institute for China Studies (Berlin) and is an advisor to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority's research group.
