THE DIGITAL RIGHTS PODCAST

Paloma Llaneza

In this new episode of The Digital Rights Podcast, we discuss the latest developments in the Digital Services Act recently approved by the European Commission. It aims to limit misinformation and illegal content online, regulate personalized advertising and strategies for obtaining our personal data, and make large companies such as Meta, Amazon, and Google more transparent.

“It requires them to audit their algorithms, have independent fact-checkers evaluate whether content is illegal or not, and publish complaints they receive about content in real time... Is it enough? We'll see,” says Paloma Llaneza, CEO of Razona and member of the Advisory Board of the Hermes Foundation.
